Our Projects > BathBelltown ADA BathroomLocation: Belltown
Completion Date: 2011
The bathroom in this downtown condo needed to be upgraded to allow ADA access for the home’s owner while not sacrificing the aesthetics and keeping the bathroom as functional as possible for future owners as well. Testimonial:
The existing tub was replaced with a walk in shower with a built in bench seat. Two separate shower doors were installed to allow different areas of access, whether into the main area or to the bench seat. A single handheld shower head was installed, but can be moved to two different adjustable bars for a comfortable shower in any position. The bathroom was also outfitted with ample grab bars that are sure to stay anchored in framing behind the walls. The door into the bathroom was replaced with a pocket door for maximum width. The swinging door into the master suite was also removed to gain 4 inches of width in the hallway, a barn style door track system was installed in its place. The new vanity cabinet was installed with flipper doors that can be retracted into the cabinet for full access under the sink. Beautiful tile, countertops, and accessories finish off the well planned and functional bathroom. |
