Capitol Hill Master Bath

Location: Capitol Hill Neighborhood

The existing master bathroom in this Capitol Hill home was completely redone to give the client’s a luxurious retreat from their daily lives. With an eye for detail and fine finishes, the new bath was put back together to create a sauna like experience.

An oversized custom shower was at the heart of the remodel. Two sets of shower fixtures, each with a rain head and hand shower give the owners flexibility in their showering experience. A steam shower was installed and the nozzle placed under a floating marble bench seat. Speakers in the ceiling provide background music to round out the spa like experience and a discreet but powerful fan quickly removes the steam when the spa experience is complete

The dual sink vanity is highlighted by custom cabinetry made from ribbon mahogany. The sinks set into the vanity and the marble countertops wrap around the curved edges for a custom fit. The Robern medicine cabinets were set into the wall and flush with a mirror continuing to the ceiling. Lights installed between each medicine cabinet and outlets on the inside complete the clean installation.

A matching ribbon mahogany dresser meets you in the water closet which can be closed off from the rest of the bathroom with a matching mahogany door inlaid with frosted glass.

Marble tile is installed in a subway pattern from floor to ceiling on every wall in the bathroom. Basket weave tile with matching marble and black dots finishes off the floor.
