Wallingford Kitchen - Modern

This modern kitchen was completed as a portion of a new 5000 square foot, custom home.  While most of the home was traditional, the home owner wanted a much more modern feel for the kitchen while not making the space contrast too sharply with the rest of the home.

The one piece, stainless steel sink-drain board-countertop was custom fabricated in New York state and shipped as one piece.  The 7’ wide range hood was custom made to cover not only the 48” professional range but also a 24” wide “salamander”(gas double broiler).  The 3” thick end grain maple butcher block and slab countertops provide for ample work space.  The cherry cabinets match cabinetry in other portions of the home helping to tie the whole project together.
